I was just sitting
and thinking of the goodness of God. I want to share with you
something I feel the Lord caused me to remember.
We always are looking for
the "nuggets" in God's word, a new word or new
understanding of a familiar scripture, and thats what we
should do, however in searching for all of the depths and
heights of His word, If wonder if we haven't forgotten
that the simple and foolish things confound the wise.
I often think of just how
big God is. I remember as a small child I asked my mother,
"How big is God?" I will always remember her reply,
she said, "He's bigger than you can ever imagine him
to be".
At the time that may have
been a simple reply to a small child, but today I somehow
needed to remember that.
Lets not forget just how
big God is, and in all of our searching, remember the simple
things, the basic things, the foundations of our faith and
truth. Lets stand in "awe" of God again and remember
just how great He is.
